I love the Paleolithic images of the bucking bison and galloping horses as seen in Lascaux, Chauvet and Altamira caves created about twenty-four to thirty thousand years ago. The drama and colors are spectacular. I use these images with several different media including gourds, my handmade paper (see More Arts and Media for more info), rocks and flattened wasp's nests. Sometimes I burn these designs, some are stenciled, some are drawn in freehand. I've been drawing horses since I was four. They are better now, however. Prices start at $20.
